Verbal Landscapes

Nature has impacted my life by giving me a fun sport to do, surf. Also if nature didn't impact my life I wouldn't be alive because nature is trees water plants etc, The plants and trees produce oxygen so we can breath. Also I broke my shoulder because of nature, sometimes nature can be mean. Nature impacted my life so I can have a home to go home to sleep and eat in because with no trees we my house wouldn't be standing currently.

Time lapse are created by taking a video with a timelapse software or camera or just take a regular video and speed it up in a software. Slo Mo's are created by taking a video with a slo mo camera or taking a video really close to to your subject or object and taking a video and then put it into a computer software to Slow it down. Also there is a timelapse on the I phone camera. Also there is a slo mo on the I phone camera app too.

The hardest part for me was finding a nature tripod. Where I was filming there was never really an even spot so it was difficult to find a spot for my camera to sit. Also the A.V. log was stressful because you had to have your poem be in between 45 seconds and 55 seconds nothing over or below. Also being in the right spot at the right time, It was difficult to get my slo mo's and timelapses exactly what they were in my A.v. log. Lastly getting my parents to drive me to the locations I was taking my videos.




I am very happy with scores. I am confused why 7 people gave me a 4, I honestly think my work was a 2, 13 people agreed with me. The reason I think it should be a 2 is because I had school example timelapse and slo mo in my Retime. I mean its possible I could have got a 3 but I don't really know, 5 people thought I should have a 3. Im very surprised that 3 people gave me a 1, I do not agree with them.

Poetic Personal Statement

 Hey guys my name is Brody and this will be my first blog post of the year. I think poetry means like smooth or inspirational, So if someone were to write poetry they might write about one of there family's adventures. Also they could paint poetry, they paint something like a photo of a waterfall or a trail then people could get words or poetry from the painting. Also they could write about one of there lost family members. Lastly someone could paint words it doesn't always have to be written.

Floating in the water, sand below me, my brother beside me
Sitting on our surf boards, looking at the horizon waiting for a wave
my mom and dad swimming with my dog beside us
a wave comes in I start to paddle I pop up and I smile
I make my bottom turn the wave lip goes over my head
then I wake up in bed the whole thing was a dream
family and surfing is the number one thing.

 I used rhyme by just thinking of words that sound the same. The reason I used rhyme was so that my poetry would sound smooth, I didn't really rhyme good until the last two lines. If I didn't use rhyme then My Poetry wouldn't sound good at all. I encourage people to right poetry because it is really fun to write. You can use websites to find words to rhyme. That is what I did but then again you can make it up yourself

Hi Everyone I'm Back With Another Blog Post and this will be the last blog post for the year, I hope you liked all my projects this year and this last project I'm doing is a Music Video! I Have a feeling this is going to be the best and the more entertaining Project I'm going to do this year. So the storyline is With Ashton, Steven And I, We each have an object that we are Attached to and we sing with it but at the end Ashton Gets All Mad And destroys every object. It Relates With the lyrics because its about a Guy and a girl but for us its a Guy and an Object. Also when we filmed We weren't really doing the storyline, but tords the end of filming we realized oh gosh we haven't even filmed our storyline. Oh yeah the song we are lip-syncing to is "Your Man"By Josh Turner, Its a country song.
My favorite fast edit montage is when its farther away and you switch to a close up. Also another one of my favorites is when your in one location and you film there for like 3 seconds then go to another location and do the same thing so it cuts in-between locations. When you do that Fast-edit montage I feel like it engages the audience that is watching, They would probably think wow this is creative they must have put a lot of hard work into this video. Also they would be able to see different lip syncs in different locations so im guessing the audience watching the music video will like that.

I think it describes are best work because you have different filming in different locations, also it has different angles and and it has us in tree's and We, well Im really enthusiastic in the music video. I wasn't Shy at all because I was having a lot of fun even though there was a crazy kid named Crispin Throwing sticks and objects at us while we filmed. Ashton and Steven were really fun partners to work with. They were really patient and they could show up on time to our film location. They Had a lot of the creative ideas in the Music video.

Animated Life Lessons

Hello everyone I'm back with another blog post! So we started an animation and we had to work with people we had never worked with before, Makaio an athlete pretty chill Unorganized and Daniel a clean freak and athletic.  They were really easy to work with because they were both pretty chill.


Well we used humor in scene 2 and scene 3. In scene 2 Makaio says something humorous about cleaning the room. In scene 3 Me and makaio are looking for our id's and we were finding the most random things like apple tv's and apple/samsung phones an xbox controller and more. That was really the only Humor we used.

We actually worked pretty good with each other. Our level of productivity was high because when one of our team members were absent one of us would go and finish there scene for them. The biggest challenged we faced was getting the perfect amount of frames for our voice recording to be spot on. My best moment of the animation was turning it in, it just gave me a releif that im not going to be late turning it in.

Character Development

Hey guys I'm back with another blog post! I just had spring break and it was good.  I'm the kind of person who doesn't really care, My friend could fall and hurt himself playing Basketball and I would just be like get up, Another example would be if my friend would spill something on himself I would be dang that sucks for you. If I were to define my self I would be a chill person who does not care about much and likes to play sports and talk to girls. Some humorous imperfections I have is when I eat my cereal in the morning I have to have bananas in it, Another one is that I sleep walk and talk in my sleep, Oh yeah I forgot to tell you we started a new project in GT which is using a photo of me in photo shop on the puppet warp tool to make a animation which the Shortest animation time is 1 min and the Max time is 2 min.

So theres this editing tool in photo shop  which can make me do wacky things, I could make it look like I have gigantic muscles or I could make my self look super small. I can become super tall so I'm Abnormal or I could have very small hands. I could make myself to flips and and all sorts of fun amazing things with my body. How would you do this? Use the Puppet warp tool.

How do you make a GIF? First you will need to take a photo of yourself then crop yourself out of the photo and then save it. After that you will want to move it into photo shop and use puppet warp and make your animation. I like mine because it looks goofy and really weird.

.Mov Film Festival

Hey guys I'm back with another blog post! My class has got into groups to make a 90 second video/Movie Trailer to be entered in the .MOV Film festival, I could have done a sitcom "Tell me a story" or an animation, I chose movie trailer. So how do keywords connect with your audience? If they are big or interesting the audience would be more intrigued with the Trailer. Also they will think Wow they wrote the scripts good. And they keywords they hear could be seen in the trailer.

My overall message that I want people to notice is that boys/girls Can be athletically the same and they can both be Smart. A part in my movie trailer has (Actor 1) Staring at (Actress 1) In a class room the teacher is grading papers (Actor 1) thinks girls cant get good grades. When the teacher asks to come up and get your graded papers, the boy gets his and theres a C-, He starts crying but when the girl gets hers she has a big A+ with a "Good Work". Then we have another scene at a soccer field where a Boy and a girl are racing . The boy thinks he's going to beat her so fast that she would be at the start when he passes the finish line. The Race starts The boy runs about 10 meters and trips on a rock, The girl See's him and goes and helps him up, Then they continue the race. When they get tords the end they are neck and neck, they pass the finish line and its a tie. The boy realizes that girls can be the same has boys Athletically. They all learned a lesson that boys/Girls can be the same.

What is the biggest team challenge that we faced? Well first was finding a place to meet up to film. Then when we started filming we couldn't stop laughing, Also there was pizza so that was a big distraction. By the time we finished with scene one it took an hour. Honestly the biggest team challenge was getting the scenes done without messing up. We tried scene 1 probably 15 times, also It took us like 10 tries to shoot scene 2.

Tiny Spherical Worlds

Hey guys I'm here with another blog post. This will be my second post of 2016, this blog I will be talking about Tiny Spherical Worlds. So my class will be working on Tiny spherical worlds and I'm supposed to answer what is the point of composite images, isn't 1 photo enough. No one photo is not enough. If you want to make a tiny world you will have to have multiple photos that are perfect. You would have to put those photos together. Then edit more and change it into a tiny world its hard to explain.

 Also we were supposed to talk about the difference between polar & spherical worlds, the polar looks like a little world and it has an ants eye view. A Spherical looks like a snow globe it has a really straight line around it. They both look very cool and interesting. On polar images the circle might never have a straight line around it, there could be slopes going up and down on the outline/horizon of the Tiny little world.

In conclusion what makes my tiny world convincing. I haven't finished mine but I can tell you will make a tiny world convincing. First you want to use the clone stamp to take the line going straight through the world out. Then you can edit it some more so it looks the way you want it.After that you want to change the background to black/white then feather it and it will look like a tiny world.
